Herzoghof war die dritte Stadtburg von Krems an der Donau und wurde bereits im 12. Jahrhundert unter Herzog Heinrich II. errichtet. Noch heute besteht dieser historische Baukomplex aus drei Geb\u00e4uden, die um einen Hof angeordnet sind. In meiner Arbeit wird der ehemalige Palasbau behandelt, welcher schon seit einiger Zeit dem Verfall ausgesetzt ist. Besondere bauliche Merkmale sind ein vermauertes gotisches Spitzbogenportal, im Barock vermauerte Biforenfenster und Schie\u00dfscharten im Sockelbereich. Anhand einer Bauaufnahme werden der damalige Zustand dieses einstmals repr\u00e4sentativen Baus rekonstruiert und die Bauphasen ergr\u00fcndet.
