Die erste Erw\u00e4hnung des S\u00e4ge- und Mahlwerks findet sich 1599 im Urbar der Herrschaft Steyr. 1840 wurde die M\u00fchle zu einem Blech- und Streckwalzwerk umgebaut, ab 1908 erfolgte die Nutzung als Holzstoff- und Pappenfabrik. Der Betrieb wurde im Jahr 1990 eingestellt. Durch die besondere Kulisse vor Ort wurde die M\u00fchle bereits f\u00fcr Filmproduktionen als Drehort ausgew\u00e4hlt. Au\u00dferdem wurde von der Gemeinde Gr\u00fcnburg eine Bewerbung als Schauplatz f\u00fcr die Landesausstellung 2020 eingereicht.<\/p><p>Insgesamt handelt es sich bei der Haunoldm\u00fchle um ein historisch wertvolles Geb\u00e4ude inmitten einer idyllischen Landschaft, das im Laufe der Zeit immer wieder als solches f\u00fcr Aufsehen sorgt. Diese Arbeit soll sich mit der Revitalisierung und Umnutzung des Geb\u00e4udes besch\u00e4ftigen, um dem Denkmal neues Leben einzuhauchen.
